The Chamazulene terpene and alzheimer’s disease

A molecule called amyloid-beta plaque has now been linked to the development of alzheimer’s disease. In our last post we spoke about activation of the PPARγ receptors as a target for metabolism and lipid storage. Another important behaviour of the PPARγ receptor is that it is known to degrade amyloid-beta plaque upon activation. Again, we have learned that the terpene chamazulene is capable of activating the PPARγ receptor. There are important precursors that show up on the cell membrane before the formation of this deadly disease. Knowing that there are natural intellight molecules that can signal to help the body detect and address this potential threat is incredibly valuable. Lean how to utilize phyto-molecules so that your own body has the signaling support it needs to better protect itself from damage. ECStraining.org
